Anastasia Plotnikova began playing piano at age 5, in Irkutsk Region, Russia. She continued her musical education at the local music schools in her native town, with a concentration in piano and guitar. In 2008, Anastasia received an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Music Education at the Irkutsk Music College. After immigrating to the United States, Ms. Plotnikova attended Community College of Philadelphia, where she was enrolled in a Liberal Arts Program from 2012-2017. During that time, she has also completed Kindermusik, an online Early Childhood Music Education Training Program. Anastasia is currently enrolled in the Music Education Program at Temple University, where she is studying piano with Dr. Mikhail Yanovitsky.

During her studies, Anastasia has received several awards and scholarships, some of which include, Special Recognition Award from Children of the Sun, a Fundraising Gala in support of Orphans in New York; Grand-Prix at the Echo Rock Festival in Cuddebackville, NY; Special Award for Singing, at the Strings of Olkhin and Baikal Bard Festivals in Irkutsk, Russia; and a Graduate Teaching State Scholarship from Irkutsk Music College.

Ms. Plotnikova has extensive experience working with children and has been employed as a Preschool Music Teacher in several programs around Philadelphia and its suburbs.
